It is within the framework of the recent “Rencontres Animation Formation (Animation Training Conference)” in Angoulême that 15 schools announced the creation of the French Network of Cinema Animation (RECA) which took affect on January 1, 2012. ArtFx is a member of this network and I have personally worked on designing training tools to help facilitate this collaboration.

The 15 RECA school members worked for two years to create an association capable of improving the visibility of training opportunities and overall communication about the animation field.
The creation of RECA promotes more structured and efficient training and uses the combined forces of our schools to further enhance the presence of French animation on the international stage.

RECA objectives

– Make the training opportunities more visible and understandable for students and their parents.
– Work on sustained and constructive communication with members of this field.
– Be the permanent network of institutions and organizations concerned with training and employment within the animation sector.
