The ARTFX London campus is a project led by Charles Chorein, an internationally recognized VFX Supervisor, colorist, and director, whose career spans over 18 years across top studios such as MPC, Dneg, and Weta Digital. As Director of ARTFX London School, Charles brings a visionary approach to education, merging artistic excellence with technical precision. His extensive experience on major productions, from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and The Hobbit to Black Mirror and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 anchors the school’s philosophy in real-world, industry-driven learning.

Under his leadership, ARTFX London fosters an environment where students learn through hands-on projects, guided by active professionals, and encouraged to experiment, fail, and refine their craft. Deeply involved in the global VFX community as Co-Chair and Co-Treasurer of the VES London Section, Charles also ensures that the campus maintains close ties with studios and talent networks across the UK and beyond. His ambition for ARTFX London is clear: cultivating a new generation of artists ready to thrive in an ever-evolving creative industry; without borders or limits.
