ARTFX Montpellier

The 3,500m², 2-storey Montpellier campus features drawing and sculpture rooms, computer labs, film sets, photo studios, mixing studios, stop-motion studios, a cafeteria and a large terrace. The Montpellier campus also houses a cinema and an exhibition hall.

ARTFX Montpellier is a 5-minute walk from the tramway, and also offers over 200 fully-equipped apartments thanks to its partner Odalys, a student residence attached to the campus. The residence's services are a plus in your daily life: parking, bike storage, fitness room... The quiet environment is a real asset for studying!

Shooting studio, infinity wall and green screen for motion capture, crane, Steadicam, dolly, etc. but also state-of-the-art equipment (HD cameras, drones, projectors, flash, lights, etc.).

Easy access to public transportation

Just a 5-minute walk from the main tramway line (line 1, Malbosc station), the ARTFX Montpellier campus is 15 minutes from the city center and main train station. Bus line 24 (Galéra) stops at the foot of the campus.

The Campus residence is located opposite ARTFX Montpellier’s main building. With over 200 apartments, a gym, a rooftop and housekeeping services, students are at the heart of campus life in a quiet, secure neighborhood.

Situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Cévennes mountains, the ARTFX Montpellier campus is ideally located to relax and enjoy nature. The city center abounds in cultural venues (Musée Fabre, Moco, Panacée, Frac, Halles Tropisme…) and festive places to enjoy a fulfilling student life: cinema, theater, opera, bowling, game bars and restaurants… there’s plenty to choose from!

PIONEER. INDEPENDENT.

The 1st VFX training school in France, ARTFX was founded in 2004 by a team of enthusiasts. The management and teaching teams, made up of professionals from the film, visual effects, animation and video game industries, maintain close relationships with the studios and are fully aware of their needs. ARTFX is one of the few schools to remain independent: it does not belong to any private educational group. This means that ARTFX remains free to make its own educational choices and to maintain its campuses on a human scale.
