ARTFX has renewed its RNCP Level 7 accreditation for five years: a strengthened benchmark that is resolutely focused on the future. This renewal is a major milestone for the school and its entire community—students, teachers, partners, and graduates—and demonstrates the confidence placed in ARTFX’s vision.
This renewal embodies the confidence placed in our vision and our educational standards. We have a responsibility and a passion for training those who will imagine the images of tomorrow in cinema, video games, animation, and VFX.
What’s the french RNCP ?
The RNCP framework (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles) is France’s official national registry for professional certifications, ensuring that each listed qualification is based on clearly defined competencies and aligned with labor market needs. At the European level, RNCP certifications are referenced to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), which enables transparency, comparability, and recognition of qualifications across EU member states. This alignment facilitates professional mobility within Europe and ensures that the level of skills and knowledge associated with a certification is internationally understandable.
Being registered with the RNCP also demonstrates the reliability and quality of a training program: it confirms that the curriculum is competency-based, assessed through standardized evaluation methods, and validated by the French state following a rigorous review process. It further indicates that the qualification responds to real employment outcomes and industry demands, providing assurance to both learners and employers regarding its professional relevance and credibility.
« Driven by this new framework, we continue to offer our students a setting for expertise that is directly in tune with the realities of the industry. The next five years will be written collectively, with our students, teachers, partners, and graduates, driven by the same ambition: to create, innovate, and pass on knowledge. » – Simon Vanesse – ARTFX President
A renewal marked by structural changes
The new RNCP framework introduces greater educational flexibility. It allows students to build a more individualized course of study, focusing their training on ambitious creative projects, innovative experimental approaches, or the deepening of a specific technical specialization. This development is fully in line with ARTFX’s commitment to supporting each student in their professional project, while maintaining high academic and artistic standards.
The main guidelines of the new RNCP title 41666
- Narrative and visual development: students must demonstrate their ability to design coherent worlds, solid narratives, and strong aesthetic proposals, regardless of their background or specialization. Management and production management: the profession of Digital Director involves mastering team coordination, complex project management, and professional communication adapted to production contexts.
- Production management: the role of Digital Producer involves mastering team coordination, managing complex projects, and communicating professionally in a production context.
- Specific job skills and technical expertise: each specialization retains its core skills while forming part of a common foundation that ensures a comprehensive understanding of production pipelines and challenges.
- Mastery of new technologies: monitoring, innovation, and adaptability are at the heart of the curriculum. Students are trained to integrate rapidly evolving tools and practices, whether artificial intelligence, real-time technology, the cloud, or new forms of immersive storytelling.
- Inclusion, diversity, and environmental responsibility: these two areas, which are now essential, structure the educational projects, student productions, and professional practices encouraged within the school.
- Monitoring and continuous professional development: the framework values the ability to remain curious, informed, and proactive in order to anticipate changes in the sector and ensure that skills are constantly evolving.
Recognition of collective work
These new guidelines recognize and highlight the daily commitment of ARTFX’s teaching teams, as well as the ambitious projects planned by the school for the coming years.
