Kamala Khan aka Miss Marvel is an American teenager of Muslim faith, living in Jersey City. She is an avid video game player and fan-fiction writer, and loves superheroes, who fire her imagination (especially Captain Marvel). But she struggles to fit in at home and at school, until she discovers she has superpowers similar to those of her heroes. She then tells herself, perhaps a little prematurely, that everything will work out…
