The Rookies 2022 Ranking: ARTFX once again on the podium

In 2022, ARTFX was recognized by The Rookies as the #1 school in Visual Effects (for the 4th year in a row) and #3 school in Game Design & Development in the "Excellence in Production" category, which recognizes the quality of team-based graduation projects. The school also ranks 2nd in the "Best Visual Effects Schools in the World" category, 6th in the "Best 3D Animation Schools" category, and 9th worldwide in the "Top Creative Media Schools" category.

For the past several years, ARTFX has topped the benchmark ranking of digital arts schools around the world, as established by the specialized media The Rookies. More than 500 schools participate in this prestigious annual ranking, submitting their students’ work to a panel of 150 creative industry professionals.

The 2022 edition of this ranking, unveiled at the end of September, once again confirms the international reputation of ARTFX, which has even progressed in Game Design & Development!

In the “Production Excellence” category, which rewards the quality of end-of-study projects carried out in teams:

🏆 1st school in special effects (for the 4th consecutive year) (Visual Effects Schools – Production Excellence 2022)

🏆 3rd school in Game Design & Development (Game Design & Development Schools – Production Excellence 2022). In 2020, the school was in 7th place, in the “Production Excellence” category for its graduation productions of its video game professions curriculum.

🏆 8th school in 3D Animation (3D Animation Schools – Production Excellence 2022).

🏆 2nd largest visual effects school in the world (Best Visual Effects Schools in the World 2022)

🏆 6th animation school in the world (Best 3D Animation Schools in the World 2022)

The “Rookies Awards“, revealed at the end of July 2022, reward individual students and graduation films.
The ARTFX school was also distinguished, with 1 winning film and 5 special mentions including the video game Shutter!
