ARTFX Once Again Ranked Among the World’s Best Creative Schools at The Rookies 2025

The 2025 Global Rookies Ranking has just been released, and our school proudly stands among the top creative institutions in the world. The Rookies’ annual rankings celebrate schools that push the boundaries of creativity and train tomorrow’s talents for industries in constant evolution. The Rookies Rankings are the most trusted and independent benchmark in creative education; built from real student work and judged by industry experts from leading studios worldwide.

Recently, we unveiled the ARTFX students and projects that received awards at The Rookies competition. Now, the official Rookies Ranking 2025 – Schools highlights the institutions that continue to innovate and shape the next generation of creative professionals. Out of 486 schools from 104 countries, evaluated through 6,577 student portfolios and over 131,000 artworks reviewed by 132 professional judges, ARTFX once again confirms its international excellence.

2025 Results: Recognized Creative Powerhouse

In the “Production Excellence” categories, which celebrate the artistic, technical, and collaborative quality of team-based graduation projects, ARTFX reaffirms its position among the top schools worldwide. Here’s the official 2025 ranking:

💥 #1 in the World for Visual Effects (VFX) — Production Excellence: Visual Effects, for the 7th consecutive year! A remarkable recognition that underscores ARTFX’s long-standing expertise in VFX education.

🎮 #2 in the World for Console Games — Production Excellence: Console Games. rising one place from last year (3rd → 2nd)! A fantastic achievement for our video game track (Game Design, Game Art, and Game Programming).

🎨 #6 in the World for 2D Animation — Production Excellence: 2D Animation, confirming the strength and maturity of our 2D program. The 2025 graduation films in this category showcased outstanding artistic and technical mastery.

🌍 #6 in the World for 3D Animation — Production Excellence: 3D Animation, up four places from 2024, reflecting our continued commitment to excellence in this key discipline.

ARTFX ranks #15 among the TOP 50 Creative Schools worldwide, further consolidating its position as a global leader in artistic and digital education. Also, in the categories based on personal projects and demoreels, ARTFX also ranks among the global elite:

🎨 #3 in the World for 2D Animation — an exceptional performance for a still-young program in ARTFX’s history.
💥 #5 in the World for Visual Effects (VFX) — solidifying ARTFX’s reputation as a global benchmark in the field.
🌍 #12 in the World for 3D Animation.
