We do not have a fixed curriculum as it is adapted every year to the activity and need of the industry. The first year is shared across all specialties and allows you to explore various disciplines to help solidify your choices. You can find more information about each program here:

The program 2D Animation & Foundation year are taught exclusively in French.
The other programs are taught in English. Please note that our English-taught courses are only offered at our Lille and Montpellier campuses.
After you register on our website, the Program Director for Programming will contact you directly via email to schedule an interview. During the interview, you will be asked to present examples of your programming work if you have already done some.
We recommend applying early to secure your spot in the course and campus of your choice, as classes are filled throughout the year. However, it is equally important for you to feel prepared and comfortable with the admission process. New admission sessions are opened until may, and we carefully review every application we receive, regardless of the date.
The admission procedure is consistent for all year entries. However, if apply for 2nd or 3rd year a complementary test may be required following your interview with a team member to assess your proficiency in a specific subject
No, you do not need to submit your portfolio the day of your inscription. You have until the end of the submission period, according to the date you choose, to submit your portfolio.
Campus France is the platform required for applying for your student visa. Beginning the process through Campus France can help streamline your visa application, making it faster and smoother.
You can submit your application either directly through our website or via Campus France, as both options are accepted. In any case, if you choose to start the process with Campus France, you will be redirected to us to complete the admission procedure. Once admitted, you must finalize your application on the Campus France platform to avoid potential administrative issues.
You will receive your admission results via e-mail within 10 days of your interview. You will then have a 2 week-time frame to confirm your spot in the school and to make the payment for your registration fee.
- If you process to the confirmation and payment in time : CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to ARTFX 🥳 We will get in touch with you to prepare your arrival.
- If you don't follow the process within 2 weeks, your application will be transferred to the waiting list.
A translation of your most recent diploma is not mandatory. However, providing a translation—either done by yourself or using a translation app—can help us better understand if your qualification is equivalent to a High School diploma, College diploma, or Bachelor’s degree.
You do not need to provide a language certificate. You need to demonstrate English proficiency during the interview, which is part of the admission process.
You do not need any additional documents.
It is possible to join the school at different stages of the program, but your admission will depend on your skills and experience compared to our current students, it will be evaluated through your portfolio, your test and your interview. We will ensure all students share the same technical and creative foundations before progressing to the 2nd or 3rd year.
No, you do not need a Bachelor's degree. The only prerequisite is to have a high school diploma.

Your level of drawing skills will be assessed by the ARTFX teaching team during the admission session. But don't worry, ARTFX aims to train you in all the fundamental artistic disciplines, so you don't need to be a whiz with a pencil. What we're interested in is your creativity and artistic eye.
No, school reports are not required for registration.
The ARTFX preparatory class opens the doors to the main international animation, special effects and video game schools, including ARTFX. The admission in the first year will be determined by the assessment of the skills developed during the year.
Our criteria are the same for everyone, given that the first years are a common core. You need to practice drawing, have a certain sensitivity and artistic culture, but above all... you need to be passionate, willing and motivated!
