ARTFX Short Films Shine Internationally: A Year of Recognition and Excellence

The 2024–2025 academic year once again confirms the outstanding quality of ARTFX’s teaching and the uniqueness of the talents nurtured within the school. Thanks to a consistently high standard of artistic and technical excellence, our students’ graduation films have captivated festival programmers across the globe.

Growing Recognition for ARTFX Student Films

Among the most acclaimed films this year:

🎞️ Entre eux deux: With 14 selections (including 2 awards), this film stands out for its sensitivity and mastery of animation. It has been screened at a wide range of festivals such as Kidfestival, Même Pas Peur (Reunion Island), and Couleurs de Chine.

🎞️ The Bitter and the Sweet, Chaussettes, Pittura, and The Ray: Each received 9 selections, confirming their impact among both professionals and cinephiles.

🎞️ Life Simulator, Nightfall, and Rescue also performed strongly, each securing between 6 and 8 selections.

🎞️ Big Bang, Par-delà les nuages, Sweet Home, and Verdun were selected 1 to 3 times — remarkable distinctions in their own right.

With over 80 official selections recorded for 2024–2025, the films created through our 2D/3D Animation and VFX programs demonstrate the effectiveness of our educational approach: blending technical expertise, narrative creativity, and strong artistic vision.

ARTFX films have been showcased across the world — in France, of course, but also in Canada, Mexico, Bulgaria, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Greece, and South Korea.
